They still go before the conjugated verb. "Le" and "Les" become "se" when in front of "lo, la, los, las." You must clarify "se" with a prepositional phrase "a + pronoun/non". Ejemplos: The hotel clerk made the reservation for me. El recepcionista hizo la reservación para mí. Now, WITH pronouns: The hotel clerk made it for me. El recepcionista me la hizo. It = la (la reservación). for me = me I gave my luggage to the bellhop. Di el equipaje al mozo. Now, WITH pronouns: I gave it to him. Se lo di a él. It = lo (el equipaje). to him = le, but became se due to "lo" coming next in the sentence. a él clarifies se. |
