About Ms. Conway
My name is Stephanie Conway and I am enjoying my seventh year at Warren Central High School! Although originally from Connersville, Indiana, I previously attended college and taught in Ohio. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Wittenberg University in 2004. I then worked for a language company as a Project Manager where I was able to use my knowledge of Spanish on a daily basis. It was a pleasure to see how knowing more than one language can improve job skills and make one more employable. However, I had a desire to help people and decided that the best place to do this was in a classroom. I have now enjoyed a total of eleven years of teaching, and I feel that this is the only career for me! I love helping students to understand and accept other cultures and the different ways of life they would find around the world. The best part of teaching is seeing the look on a student's face when they "get" something for the first time...learning is priceless!
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have three nephews and we love to swim, play catch, walk my dog, and laugh a lot! I'm also an avid supporter of pet adoption. I have a 90 pound Black and Tan Coonhound named Charlie. He is a big lug of a sweetheart and he gets along great with my Siberian Husky, Luna. I also love to sing, watch TV and movies, play team trivia, go to concerts and shows, and most of all to travel to Florida for vacation!
